Heroscape is the best board game you've never heard of. Maybe you've heard of Magic the Gathering: Arena of the Planeswalkers. Heroscape was the far-superior predecessor. Wizards of the Coast eventually took over and ran it into the ground by tying licensed properties like Marvel and DnD to it instead of just letting it exist as it is - an epic crossover battle of all history and fantasy.

I re-bought a bunch of this stuff again. I had it as a kid and sadly let my mom give it away during my transition to independent adulthood. I had no idea the value of what I let go.
